Hey guys :) Welcome to my blog! Hopefully soon I'll figure out how to work this and get a better theme. I figured it was be best to let you guys know a little about me first.
I'm Alex, I'm 14, and I'm from Canada. I run the tumblr blogs manateah and style-by-alex, which is the blog that gave me the idea and inspiration to set this up. I play rep soccer, and I also play field hockey and volleyball for my school teams; sports and working out are a huge part of my lifestyle, so if anyone would be interested in posts on that let me know; or keep an eye out for posts on those.
But the idea for this blog was a mix of other style bloggers and celebrities, coming together with age I guess. I'm turning 15 in a few months ((December baby problems)). I started a style blog because of a few of my favourite style blogs I'd found and followed on my personal blog. After months of following them, I finally decided I wanted to start my own. Creating style-by-alex let me find so many more style bloggers; they're all incredibly sweet, friendly, helpful, and they have the best style. I've already met so many people and made lots of friends, and for once, I feel like I fit in. After seeing some of their blogs start opening incredible opportunities for them, I knew I wanted to make one too. Another huge person who inspired me to do this was Danielle Bernstein, from the blog WeWoreWhat. Some of you may know her as a blogger, some might as Eleanor Calder's friend, and some probably don't know her at all. I absolutely love her style and seeing how her blog gets her into front row of fashion weeks all around the world, loads of free stuff, and so much more makes me want to be able to experience something like that.
As for my style, it's pretty simple and comfy. Believe me when I say I love my sweats; but I don't wear them every day. (Once a week max.....) Some of my favourite items are crop tops, oversized knit sweaters/cardigans, low-cut white cons, black jeans, light wash jeans, thick knit cozy socks, Uggs, and beanies.
